Nina Hale Volunteering 2017: Employees Give Back

August 30, 2017

Here at Nina Hale, we believe in business karma. We believe in doing the right thing and giving back. We always strive to do what is right by our clients and by our employees – and that involves more than the 9-to-5.

Throughout the month of August, Nina Hale is reaching out to the community and hosting a two-part initiative for our employees to take part in. On Fridays in August, employees had the opportunity to take the day to volunteer.

“I am excited to give our employees this opportunity. Volunteering is a great way to connect Nina Hale with our Minneapolis community in a new way. We have so many employees who volunteer in their free time and we wanted to give them a chance to help their community during work hours” said Donna Robinson, CEO.

Nina Hale partnered up with Second Harvest Heartland, a great organization who strives to feed those who are hungry in our community. A group of NH employees volunteered there the morning of Friday August 11 — packing over 11,600 pounds of food!

Nina Hale also partnered with Mississippi Park Connection for our second volunteering opportunity. Employees went to Minnehaha Park to help maintain and restore the park by remove invasive plants and planting new vegetation.
