Starting Line-Up of Drew and Jonathan Scott, Rise and Shine and Collective Measures Debut New Ad Campaign for Andersen Windows and Doors During NCAA Basketball Tournament

Andersen Windows and Doors (AWD) is rolling out a new brand tagline, “Trust Your Home to Andersen,” during the NCAA basketball tournament with the help of agency partners Collective Measures and Rise and Shine and Partners.

Titled “Nice Windows,” the new campaign features the Scott Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, best known as the hosts of the hit TV franchise Property Brothers (HGTV), in 30-second, 15-second, 6-second spots and social video spots.

The media strategy and buy was managed by Collective Measures and the creative campaign was developed by Rise and Shine and Partners. Both agencies are located in Minneapolis, MN and worked collaboratively throughout the campaign. Andersen is also a Minnesota-based company.

“Using a cultural moment like the NCAA tournament as a platform allowed us to reach both our contractor and homeowner audiences simultaneously and continue to build trust for Andersen Windows & Doors,” said Matt Larson, VP of Media Connection and Strategy, Collective Measures. “We followed consumer consumption trends, leading us to an integrated full funnel digital & social centric plan with streaming video as our anchor while strategically leveraging live TV to drive impactful incremental reach.”

Multiyear national research has repeatedly revealed that Andersen is the #1 trusted window and door brand.  Given the many variables of home renovation and construction, there’s often a chance that things don’t go exactly as planned. That’s a problem homeowners and pros both share. But the thing they always rely on, they always come home to, is choosing Andersen Windows. Hence the new tagline, that works for both pro and consumer audiences, “Trust Your Home to Andersen.”

The new campaign emphasizes Andersen’s beautiful, reliable windows in contrast to a world that’s often a lot less reliable; while Drew and Jonathan sagely reassure a young couple remodeling their home in an unpredictably chaotic world that they can trust their home to Andersen.

“With over 1,000 home renovations under their belts, Drew and Jonathan know the value of quality and trusted partnerships, which made them a perfect fit to star in our biggest effort yet for Andersen.” said Matt Burgess, Partner and Chief Creative Officer, Rise and Shine and Partners. “Given their instant credibility, we could lean more into their personalities and sense of humor to deliver the all-important message of trust to our audience.”

The media strategy for this campaign incorporated a digital-first approach with ~50/50 split between in-game ads airing on linear TV and those being viewed on streaming platforms. Along with the linear and streaming spots, Collective Measures is pursuing a “campaign surround” push, which includes paid social, paid search, pro connected tv, pro online video and owned channels. This strategy builds on a successful campaign on streaming and digital last year during the same tournament.
